Beliefs.

People always think,

one may appear to be a person full of principles,

strong character,

deep beliefs.

But has this person really lived by these things?

Most likely not.

But this time,

I want to live what I write.

One can say,

I have the passion,

I have am willing,

I am not afraid,

this is life.

But those may just be empty words,

words that can be denied anytime.

But to me,

words ain’t just about its appearance,

how it sounds like,

its how it feels like,

how it makes you feel.

I want to overcome the obstacles,

and it is always true,

life is simple,

its just not easy.

There are many times when I let myself disagree with this world,

disagree with what I’m going to experience next.

But everytime after deep thinking,

I realise that things are not always as bad as I used to think.

Time is precious,

although some things seem to be rather meaningless,

they will have an impact on your life,

no matter big or small.

A strong foundation can only be formed with meticulous construction.

And the essential ingredient, experience.

Wisdom and knowledge do not form overnight.

周叔叔，

谢谢您10天来的陪伴既照顾。

虽然相识并不长久，但这次的旅程却让我留下了非常深刻的印象。

您的教导，您的每一番话，您的亲切让这次的旅程色彩缤纷，也画上了完美的句号。

在此，我祝您身体健康，心想事成。

谢谢。

(Thanks to you, I’ve gained much more interest in Chinese history and events.)

This trip would not be so successful without the WONDERFUL tour guides and teachers. 周叔叔 and Uncle Andrew, I assure both of you that you are both the best tour guides ever!

希望能再次相遇。

There may be many people that you’ve come across, but how many actually left you with a deep impression that can last a lifetime?

周叔叔 and Uncle Andrew did. And all who went for the Shanghai GPP trip.

I also want to thank Wenhui for being such a nice buddy. ;D

The World.

I have been fretting over insignificant things, at least to many people.

I’ve been thinking:

Why do we exist?

What/who do we exist for?

Why do some people put on a false front?

Is it done to mask their loneliness, weakness or just simply to have something to

brag about?

It wasn’t easy for me to figure these out.

But I got it eventually.

We exist to live. Why live?

To see the earth, the wonderful world and

the astounding Mother Nature.

To make our presence felt, to create history.

Although our roles may not be significant,

we just want a place in this world.

What defines simple-minded and what defines a complex mind?

Some people put on a false front, to show that they are sophisticated people, to

show that they are knowledgeable.

But in actual fact, they are not.

Some may succeed, some may fail.

Those who succeed are those who manage to confuse people, to make people

believe in their false selves.

But those who fail, simply clearly show their true selves.

Some choose to exist as a totally different person in front of others,

while some just act themselves.

An existence only holds its value when it is natural, when it is pure.

False personalities may succeed in deceiving others but you can never deceive

yourself.

Do you show your trueself in front of your closest friends?

Or do you even show your trueself in your parents’ presence?

Live you, the meaning in life.

A false existence does not exist.

RVGG Heritage Trail.

Oh yes!

The Heritage Trail yesterday was a real success!!!

WHEW!

It was really stressful,

the planning and everything…

But it was real fun,

seeing all the people being hit by the water bombs.

Oops, sadist haha.

But I really want to take this opportunity to thank RVNP once again.

THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH!!!

Yall were really great participants and I very much look forward to working with yall

again.

I hope all of you enjoyed the trail. ;D

The games, the funny scenes and walking around for hours under the hot sun.

It was fun but really tiring though… xD

I also want to thank all guides who participated and especially my super

levelmates!!!

THANK YOU THANK YOU! :D

Although exam results did not turn out well,

I soon got over it…

And I’m really glad that things that took place after that really made my day! :)

Last but not least,
